Kuwait- Health Ministry organizes awareness day ahead of Hajj
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The Information Office of the Ministry of Health, organized, in collaboration with the pilgrimage affairs office at the Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, an awareness day at the Ministry of Awqaf dubbed (Toward a Safe Pilgrimage) during which some 50 pilgrims from the ministry staff were vaccinated and provided free testing and consulting services.
Head of the Information Office Dr. Ghalia Al-Mutairi urged during a news briefing on the sidelines of the Awareness Day those who wish to perform Hajj this year to seek the health centers and take the necessary vaccinations.
She said the health centers would distribute booklets on health issues that have been prepared by the Information Office, adding that the booklets contain instructions which would help prevent health risks that may face the pilgrims either before, during or after the pilgrimage.
