Seminar on civilisational communication between Oman and world begins

A two-day
seminar onCivilisationalCommunication between Oman and the World began on Wednesday under the auspices of H ESayyidMohammed bin Sultan binHamoudalBusaidy
Minister of State and Governor ofDhofar.
During the seminar 11 working papers on three topics will be presented by researchers and specialists from Oman and abroad.
On the first day three papers were presented on the Omani-Asian Civilisational Communication.
Dr Farouq Omar Fouzi professor in Islamic history from Iraq presented the first paper on the Omani Civilisational Communication with Iraq while Dr Mohammed bin Saad al Moqadam a lecturer at the College of Arts and Social Sciences in Sultan Qaboos University (SQU) presented the second paper on the Omani Civilisational Communication with Persia. Ismail bin Ahmed al Zedjali from the office of the Special Advisor to His Majesty Sultan Qaboos bin Said for External Liaison presented the third working paper on the Omani Civilisational Communication with India.
The second topic was on the Omani-Afro-European Civilisational Communication. The first paper titled the Omani Civilisational Communication with North Africa was presented by Dr Mohammed Ahmed Jahlan associate professor University of Ghardaia in Algeria. Dr Mohammed bin Nasser al Manthri consultant of religious programmes at the Public Authority for Radio and Television presented the second paper on the Omani Civilisational Communication with East Africa.
Dr Ibrahim bin Yahya al Busaidi a lecturer at the SQU College of Arts and Social Sciences presented the third working paper on the Omani Civilisational Communication with Europe: Portugal Britain and France whereas the fourth paper was presented by Ruth K a student from the US on the Omani Civilisational Communication with North and South Americas.
