European stocks sink on worries over Chinese economy


(MENAFN- AFP) Europe's main stock markets sank on Tuesday after weaker manufacturing data increased concerns about the Chinese economy.

London's benchmark FTSE 100 index plunged 3.03 percent to close at 6,058.54 points.

In the eurozone, the CAC 40 in Paris dropped 2.40 percent to finish at 4,541.16 points, while Frankfurt's DAX 30 fell 2.38 percent to end at 10,015.57 points.
