Qatar pavilion draws 2mn visitors at Expo Milano
(MENAFN- Gulf Times) The Qatar Pavilion at Expo Milano 2015 has received a record 2mn visitors, since its opening on May 1.
The pavilion was one of the most visited at the exhibition. The two millionth visitor received a special gift from the staff at the pavilion. The visitor, a lady, expressed her appreciation with its activities and design which reflects the original Qatari heritage. The Qatari pavilion reflected the country's heritage and also displayed a commitment to preserve the environment as a key factor for achieving sustainable development. The pavilion hosted a number of cultural events that discussed Qatar's past as well as the country's prospects for the future.
Expo Milano 2015 is being held in Milan, Italy, from May 1 to October 31, 2015. Over the six-month period, Milan becomes a global showcase where more than 140 participating countries show off the best of their technology.
