UAE- 53 more candidates register for FNC polls

(MENAFN- Khaleej Times) Candidate registration centres for the Federal National Council (FNC) elections 2015 received 53 applications including 11 from women on the second day of registrations.

Abu Dhabi received 22 applications Sharjah eight Ajman eight Ras Al Khaimah six Fujairah four Dubai three and Umm Al Quwain two. The registration started on Saturday and will continue until August 20.The National Election Committee will declare the preliminary list of candidates on August 23 and the final list on August 31. Candidates can request withdrawal of their nomination before September 14.
