Jordan- FM meets former Quartet's peace process envoy
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Affairs Nasser Judeh discussed, Yesterday, with the former Quartet's Envoy to the Middle East Peace Process, Tony Blair, the latest developments in the Middle East region, in addition to, peace process efforts.
Breaking the ice in the peace process between Palestinians and Israelis figured high during the meeting, where the two sided stressed the need to inject new life into the peace process in order to reach the two-state solution based on the international terms of reference as well as the Arab Peace Initiative.
Counter-terrorism efforts were also on the meeting's agenda, where Judeh stressed that Jordan will remain at the forefront in this regard.
