Tajik Republic seeks Kuwaiti help for floods' victims


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Tajik Ambassador to Kuwait Zubaydullo Zubaydov on Wednesday met with Deputy Chairman of the Kuwait Red Crescent Society (KRCS) Anwar Al-Hasawi to discuss aiding his country to reconstruct towns damaged by recent floods and mud slides.
Kuwait is a leading country in aiding people in need all over the world, the Ambassador told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on Wednesday, as he emerged from the meeting with Al-Hasawi, adding that the talks dealt with prospected support for aiding peoples whose properties were damaged in the floods and mud slides to repair them. They also discussed plans for aiding those who became homeless and rebuilding demolished power stations.
The diplomat added that they had also discussed developing cooperation between the two countries in the humanitarian field.
Al-Hasawi on his part noted that the Red Crescent is willing to cooperate with all humanitarian organizations to provide aid for any country in need.
