Leader of Israeli Meretz party calls for releasing Palestinian prisoner
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Leader of Israeli Meretz Party, Zehava Gal-On, called for the release of Palestinian administrative detainee Mohammad Allan as his health was deteriorating.
Radio Israel quoted Gal-On as saying that Allan does not pose a security threat, but affirmed that he should stand trial if proved he was engaged in terrorist activities.
She voiced belief that the administrative detention policy against Palestinians does not yield the aspired results and therefore should be abolished.
