1 million medical tests carried out in Dubai in 6 months
(MENAFN- Khaleej Times)Over one million medical fitness tests were conducted in Dubai in the first half of 2015. Of these 421618 were new applicants and the remaining were visa-renewals. The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has 16 medical fitness centres across the emirate. Maisa Al Bustani Director of Medical Fitness at the DHA said 201666 people opted for the 48-hour test; 47096 for the 24-hour test; and 57498 chose the VIP option. She highlighted the fast-track Tawajud service is beneficial for corporate employees. The DHA employees visit the office or home of the individual who has requested for this service and conduct the test on the spot. She said this service is also beneficial for housewives who do not wish to go to a medical fitness centre to renew their visa.
