Oman Cricket felicitates national team

(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) Oman Cricket (OC) felicitated the national team on Monday night that qualified for the 2016 ICC World Twenty20. 

H E Sheikh Saad al Saadi the Minister of Sports Affairs Ahmed bin Abdulnabi Macki the former Minister of National Economy and Kanak Khimji OC chairman presented cash awards to the players and team officials in the presence of a large gathering that included OC board members various embassy officials and other dignitaries.

Also Oman captain Sultan Ahmed cut a cake to mark the team's achievement. Pankaj Khimji OC board member Madhu Jesrani OC secretary Duleep Mendis Oman coach and Jameel Zaidi team manager spoke on the occasion about the team's journey through the qualifying tournament in Scotland-Ireland from July 6-26.
