Two Killed in Terrorist Attack in Turkey


(MENAFN- QNA) Two Turkish security personnel were killed Sunday and 24 more were injured in a suicide bombing that took place overnight by militants belonging to the Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK).
The attack took place in Turkey's eastern province of Agri. A tractor loaded with two tons of explosives on a gendarmerie outpost located in the Dogubeyazit district of eastern Agri province, bordering Iran, the governor's office said.
Terrorist attacks taking place in Turkey in the last week killed 16 Turkish security personnel and four citizens, according to the official count in Turkey. Some 34 others were injured as well.
As for Turkey's military operations against the PKK, it led to the death of 260 militants and injury of 380-400 others.
