(MENAFN- AFP) European equities closed up on Tuesday, with London's FTSE 100 index gaining 0.77 percent to finish at 6,555.28 points.
In the eurozone, the CAC 40 in Paris climbed 1.01 percent to end the day at 4,977.32 points, while Frankfurt's DAX 30 won 1.06 percent to close at 11,173.91 points.
