(MENAFN- Daily News Egypt) Interior ministry announced 15 dead and 6 injured in a boat drowning after crashing with another shipping boat near Warraq island in Giza, in an official statement on Tuesday.
Health ministry spokesperson Hossam Abdel-Ghaffar told state-run Al-Ahram newspaper, that the injuries were transferred to Nasser institute hospital and Imbaba general hospital.
The driver of the citizens boat, who was among the survivors, was arrested by security forces and detained for interrogation.
