Caign launched to ensure security in Hail during holidays

(MENAFN- Arab News) RIYADH: Police in Hail recently launched a campaign to ensure peace and security in the region.
The first phase was implemented during the last ten days of Ramadan while the second phase started with the declaration of Eid Al-Fitr and will continue until the end of the holidays.
The aim of the campaign is to minimize if not eliminate altogether all irregularities reported by the citizens after the issuance of regulations and security instructions by the police authorities.
The campaign includes sending police patrols to checkpoints in all areas to ensure security and eliminate traffic violations during the holidays with the participation of all civil sectors.
The campaign also includes a mechanism to track offenders. Meanwhile citizens have expressed satisfaction regarding the implementation of the campaign.
The police patrol force was under the leadership of field commander Maj. Farhan Atallah Shanan Al-Anzi as well as the supervisor of the Provincial Police Director Mohammad Shanan Hamdan Alnvishi along with Maj. Gen. Mahmudul who is the police chief of the Hail region.
Officials expressed thanks to the participants in the campaign for their cooperation and selflessness in the name of duty and public service.
