One Killed in Car Bombing at Italian Consulate in Cairo


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) One civilian was killed on Saturday when a car bomb went off outside the Italian consulate in Cairo.

According to dpa, the Egyptian Interior Ministry said the explosives were placed in a car outside the consulate in central Cairo. Eight people were wounded.

A 25-year-old street vendor was killed in the blast that took place at 6:30am (04:30 GMT).
