Houthi blitz kills 31

(MENAFN- Arab News) ADEN: Rockets fired by Shiite rebels at a residential district of Yemen's second city Aden killed at least 31 civilians and wounded more than 100 Wednesday a senior health official said in an updated toll.
The city's health chief Al-Khader Laswar said three women and two children were among the dead.
Houthis and their allies pounded the loyalist-held Al-Mansura district with 15 Katyusha rockets loyalist spokesman Ali Al-Ahmadi told AFP. The rocket fire began before dawn when the streets were busy Ahmadi said.
A fresh salvo of rockets later in the morning hit mourners burying some of the dead from the earlier fire the spokesman and witnesses said.
An AFP reporter saw residents carrying bloodied bodies and calling for help as they piled them into vehicles and drove them to hospitals.
It has been plagued by diseases amid a shortage in food water and medicines with the rebels imposing a blockade on the port city and forcing aid vessels to turn back.
Meanwhile the Saudi military said a soldier posted along a border post in Najran died of wounds sustained from a missile strike launched by rebels inside Yemen.
