Finland condemns terror attack in Kuwait

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The Republic of Finland condemned on Sunday the terror blast that hit Imam Al-Sadiq Mosque in central Kuwait City during the afternoon Friday prayers.
Finnish Prime Minister Juha Sipila said in statement published on the Finnish government website: "I wish to express my condolences to the families and friends of the victims, and to the Government of Kuwait." He called on the international community to do its utmost to counter terrorism, saying that Finland is part of such efforts.
At least 27 people were killed and 227 others wounded in the blast that hit a mosque in central Kuwait when it was packed with at least 2,000 worshipers during Friday prayers.
