Jordan to participate at Fancy Food Show in New York


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Jordan will participate for the seventh time at the Fancy Food Show 2015, which will be opened Saturday in New York City.

Chairman of the Jordan Exporters Association Omar Abu Wishah said some 9 Jordanian companies operating in various sectors of the food industry will take part in the Food Show's 61st session, adding that this participation is organized by the Association and the Jordan Investment Commission.

He stressed the importance of participation at such important global food exhibition that will bring together some 2,400 exhibitors from more than 80 countries, noting that it will offer a key opportunity for Jordanian companies to promote their products and conduct business with international companies.

"Most prominent among the sectors participating in the show are halawa and tahini, Arab sweets, chocolates, spices and herbs, packaging, juices and canned food," the chairman added.
