(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) The US-led coalition conducted 21 airstrikes against the Daesh terrorist group in Syria and Iraq during the last 24 hours.
The coalition said in a statement on Sunday that 14 airstrikes were carried out in Syria around the cites of Kobani, Al-Raqqah, Al Hasakah, Aleppo and Tal Abyad.
The statement added that another 7 airstrikes were staged in Iraq in the cities of Bagdad, Baiji, Al-Hawija, Al Habbaniyah and Tal Afar and destroyed vehicles, buildings and weapons belonging to Daesh, as well as targeted military units.
The airstrikes also destroyed a headquarters used by militants, in addition to another site used by Arab and foreign fighters, as well as suicide bombers, in the Fallujah area.
