Kuwait- KAC to receive 1st Airbus A330 Tues.


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Kuwait Airways, the national airline, will receive the first of the five Airbus A330 planes tomorrow, Tuesday, KAC's Chairperson and Managing Director Rasha Al-Roumi announced.

"The other four of medium to long range twin-engine jet airliner will be received by the end of this year," she told reporters this evening.

"The delivery of the wide-body A330 aircraft follows the completion of the delivery of seven A320 planes which have already joined the KAC fleet," Al-Roumi said, noting that the A330 will fly to European destinations this summer.

KAC, out of keenness on the convenience of its customers, provides them with phone and internet services, she noted.

The new plane which accommodates 335 passengers has very comfortable seats for all classes, notably the fist and business ones, she added, affirming resolve of the Blue Bird (KAC) to continue its drive to modernize its fleet and enhance its competitive edge. (end)
