OIC launches new website for Geneva office

(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) The Organisation of Islamic Cooperation, OIC, has launched the new website of its Geneva Office, which contains all information and activities of the OIC Office in Geneva in relation to the UN Geneva Office.

In the same vein, the OIC Office has been linked to the electronic archiving system based in the OIC General Secretariat in Jeddah with a view to facilitating electronic exchange of documents.

Mohamed El-Bouseifi from the OIC Information Technology Department installed the system and provided training to the office staff on how to use it.

This comes as part of the plan for the development of the infrastructure of the OIC and its offices abroad in the field of Information and Communication Technologies and electronic archiving which is being implemented by the Information Technology Department following instructions from the Secretary-General, Iyad Ameen Madani.
