UAE- Dar Al Ber to collect donations at Etisalat

(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) Dar Al Ber Society staff representatives are collecting donations at different branches of the Emirates Telecommunications Corporation, Etisalat, in the emirates of Dubai and Ras al-Khaimah in the Holy Month of Ramadan.

The move, following a charity agreement recently concluded by the two strategic partners, will help raise funds for the seasonal projects that Dar Al Ber Society organises during Ramadan, according to Abdullah Ali bin Zayed, the Executive Director of the Society.

"The mandatory and voluntary alms to be collected will be earmarked for free Iftar meals, Eid clothes, and other philanthropic programmes whereas some contribution will go to orphans, needy and low-income families to meet their needs and make them happy."

Such generosity helps boost the spirit of fraternity and solidarity among members of the society based on the principles of Islam and in view of the national vision of the country, he added.

Paying tributes to Etisalat's kind gesture, bin Zayed said that the Emirates Telecommunications Corporation has always been supportive of Dar Al Ber charity projects.

"The two strategic partners join hands and collaborate with each others as one integrated entity to improve the standards of living of the poor, needy, and low-income families as per the social responsibility of the 36-year-old association."
