Schaueble warns Greece time is running out

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) German finance minister Wolfgang Schaueble Thursday repeated calls on Greece to deliver on what has been agreed between Athens and its international creditors.

"The only difference today is that we are in Luxembourg and not Brussels, otherwise we are waiting for the Greek proposals, we were patient but the time is running out. It depends exclusively on Greece to deliver on what has been agreed," he told reporters as he arrived for a meeting of Eurozone finance ministers in Luxembourg.

"We hope there will be an agreement but it depends on Greece, the problem lies in Greece, people in Greece are suffering from the situation, this is something a responsible government has to make sure to avoid, we have been working together and shown solidarity, but now Greece has to do something about what has been agreed," said the German minister "When the meeting begins, we will have discussions but we need proposals, otherwise what should we talk about," he added.
