Saudi- Imam varsity student wins laurels in Austria

(MENAFN- Arab News) RIYADH: A Saudi student at the College of Medicine Imam Muhammad bin Saud Islamic University (IMSIU) won the first place at the International Students Conference (ISC) held in Austria recently.
According to a source at IMSIU student Mohammed bin Khaled Al-Khalifa's research paper in public health was among 280 papers submitted by the participants at the medical student conference.
Al-Khalifa's paper was under supervision of Dr. Sami bin Abdulrahman Al-Daham vice dean of the Talent Creativity and Excellence (TCE) who is also the head of training programs for students abroad at IMSIU Faculty of Medicine.
Speaking on the occasion Al-Daham said the achievement is a source of pride for the country and the University the Faculty of Medicine and Deanship TCE in particular.
Dr. Abdullah Bin Thani TCE dean expressed his gratitude to IMSIU Acting Director Dr. Fauzan Al-Fawzan and employees of the university on the achievements of the University and students in the Faculty of Medicine.
He also credited such achievement to the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and the Minister of Education for the unlimited support to the education sector.
He also praised the role of the university acting director for his intensive follow-up for talent creativity and excellence of activities and keenness to create the healthy atmosphere for employees and the pursuit of academic mission.
'Such participation in global conference helps those students to achieve international experience and contribute to the distinct good image of the achievements of Imam University' he concluded.
