CabinetHolds ItsRegular Meeting
(MENAFN- QNA) HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al-Thani chaired the Cabinet regular meeting, held this morning at its seat at the Emiri Diwan.
Following the meeting, HE the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Ahmed bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud said the meeting considered the topics on its agenda including approval of the Cabinet's draft decision on restructuring of the National Committee for Coordinating Conferences and Events.
Under the terms of the draft decision Committee is to be constituted under the chairmanship of a representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and membership of representatives of stakeholders concerned with the study of governmental proposals for conferences and events in the State, and giving opinion about their benefit to the State as well as taking action in coordination with the competent authorities for hosting approved conferences and events in the State, arranging their timing , and preparing their annual schedule.
The Cabinet also approved a draft decision by the Minister of Labour and Social Affairs to set up sections at the administrative units of the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs and set their terms.
The Cabinet also took the necessary action to ratify a number of agreements including the cultural cooperation agreement between the State of Qatar and the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia.

The Cabinet in its regular meeting also approved a draft memorandum of understanding (MoU) on cooperation in tourism between the State of Qatar and the Sultanate of Oman.
The Cabinet also reviewed a set of topics including a draft law on the diplomatic and consular corps.
A letter by the Minister of Transport concerning proposal to amend some provisions of the Emiri Decree No. (46) of 2014 on organizing Qatar Aeronautical College. A letter by the Minister of Administrative Development regarding the outcome of the 52nd special session of the General Assembly of the Arab Organization for Administrative Development which was held in Cairo in March 2015.
A memorandum by the Minister of Labour and Social Affairs on the outcome of the 42nd session of the Arab Labour Conference which was held in Kuwait in March 2015.
