Impact of tropical storm /ASHOBAA/ on UAE is expected to be indirect: NCMS


(MENAFN- Emirates News Agency (WAM)) The impact of the tropical storm (ASHOBAA) on the UAE is expected to be indirect, but will rise the Sea state over the East coast of the country by Wednesday night and Thursday morning, in addition, an increase in the amount of clouds to the East coasts is also likely, especially on the eastern mountains, according to the National Center of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS).

''Latest satellite imagery and observations in addition to the weather reports from the main regional centers, indicates that the tropical storm (ASHOBAA) currently centered at a distance of 650 km from the South Eastern province of Oman, with a surface wind speed around the tropical storm center between 35 € 45 km/hour, the NCMS said in its latest update on the tropical storm.

With the latest Forecasted weather charts and some of the NWP Models indicate the continuity of the tropical storm movement toward Northwest to get closer to the coast of the South Eastern province in Oman by Thursday morning, with a probability of scattered heavy rain and a fresh to strong winds.

NCMS said it will keep monitoring this weather case, which is quickly changeable with high uncertainty.
