Bomb blast kills Egyptian policeman
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) An Egyptian policeman was killed when an improvised explosive device (IED) exploded in the northern Gharbia Governorate on Friday.
The official news agency, MENA, reported that the explosion took place during a police raid on a farm said to have been used by terrorists as a bomb making factory.
Police have cordoned off the area and the bomb disposal unit is defusing other IEDs and handling the explosive materials, it added.
