Oman LNG signs pacts to support Al Noor Association, PACDA


(MENAFN- Muscat Daily) As part of its corporate social responsibility Oman LNG on Sunday signed three pacts to support the visually challenged and the Public Authority for Civil Defence and Ambulances (PACDA).

A press release stated that the first agreement was signed with Al Noor Association for the Blind in Sur. Rashid bin Sulaiman al Farsi chairman of Al Noor Association for the Blind in Sur signed the pact. 'Oman LNG will fund the purchase of Braille Sense devices and organise a training programme on Braille.'

The second agreement will see Oman LNG fund the purchase of a 4WD for Al Noor Association for the Blind in Dakhliyah governorate.

The company signed the third pact worth RO118000 for the purchase of two 5000 gallon water tankers to assist PACDA's operations in Sur. Brig Mubarak bin Juma al Ghailani director general of Civil Defence signed the pact on behalf of PACDA.

'Our aim is to deliver sustainable value and that is what we are aiming to do through the agreements we have just inked' Khalid al Massan chief corporate affairs officer Oman LNG said after signing the agreements on behalf of the company.
