Saudi Relief Aid Plane Arrives in Comoros


(MENAFN- Saudi Press Agency) In implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the relief assistance of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia arrived in the United Republic of Comoros, yesterday.

Upon arrival, the cargo aircraft was received by the Acting Minister of Transport and Health in the United Republic of Comoros Bahia Massoud; Saudi Ambassador to the Comoros Dr. Hamad Al-Hajri; representatives from the Saudi Ministry of Finance as well as Red Crescent Authority and the head of the Red Crescent Society in the Republic of the Comoros Mistabedran Salim.

The relief aid consists of 100 tons, including 50 tons of foodstuffs and 50 tons of other supplies such as tents, blankets and rugs.

This assistance comes in the framework of the support provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the brothers in the United Republic of Comoros.
