Egyptian PM: Jordan, Egypt set ground for closer economies ties


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Egyptian Prime Minister, Ibrahim Mahlab, on Wednesday, said Jordan and Egypt have established a new roadmap for their economic relations and the countries are keen on striking strategic bilateral cooperation.

During a meeting with Jordanian investors and businessmen, the Egyptian prime minister commended the outcome of the Joint Higher Jordanian-Egyptian Committee which convened in Amman today.

He spoke on a number of measures to boost bilateral trade and tourism among other sectors. He said his country will allocate 100 scholarships for Jordanian students to study medicine in Egypt.
