5 Soldiers, 63 Militants Killed in Afghan Military Operations
(MENAFN- QNA) Five soldiers and 63 insurgents have been killed in separate military operations across the country, Afghanistan's ministries of defense and interior announced on Wednesday.
A statement issued by the Ministry of Defense states that the five soldiers have been killed in security operations.
In the meantime, a statement issued by the Ministry of Interior states that 63 militants were killed and 61 others wounded in separate military operations in eleven provinces in past 24 hours, according to the Afghan (Khaama Press).
An unspecified number of ammunition and weapons were also seized by the security forces during these operations, interior ministry statement adds.
