Saudi- Obama's exit

(MENAFN- Arab News) I read with interest the article 'Will Obama's exit change US policy?' (May 12) by Linda S. Heard. Sometimes I feel that US President Barack Obama is being unnecessarily criticized. He tries his level best to right the wrongs committed by his predecessor but perhaps the situation had spun beyond his control. Secondly President Obama has limitations. We should also understand that decision-making process in the US is not as simple as we see in many other countries. It is true that the POTUS has executive powers and can use it but we need to understand the complex procedure. One thing should also not be ignored that Obama had inherited an ailing economy due to the military misadventures of the Texan cowboy who had treated the world as his ranch. After going through the article I realized that after Obama we are not likely to see a very people-friendly president in the White House. Tariq Qureshi Jeddah
