Health Ministry to host 17 foreign consultants

(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) The Ministry of Health will host 17 senior foreign doctors and consultants in various medical specialties later this month to examine patients and carry out a number of complex and rare surgical operations.

In a press statement, Head of the Public Relations Department Faisal Al-Dosari said that the senior doctors would review a considerable number of patients suffering from chronic diseases or complicated illness at Kuwaiti public hospitals.

The consultants would also deliver a number of lectures and organize workshops and seminars to transfer their expertise to doctors at the Health Ministry's hospitals and medical centers, he said.

He added that the Ministry brings in elite foreign doctors and consultants in their various fields of medicine to draw upon their expertise to upgrade medical services in the country.
