Qatar's first paddy crop
(MENAFN- The Peninsula) K Mohanan (centre), agriculture minister of India's southern state of Kerala, and others at the harvest of Qatar's first paddy crop, at Al Dosari Park in Shahaniya, yesterday. The minister and a group of organic farming enthusiasts from Kerala living in Qatar had planted the rice seedlings about six months ago.
