Kuwaiti citizen shot dead by his colleague at work

(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY April 28: A 25-year old Kuwaiti citizen was shot dead by his 27-year old colleague at the Ministry of Electricity and Water in Saad Al- Abdullah area using a hunting gun locally known as 'Shozen'. According to security sources the suspect went to the division where the victim works inside the ministry and shot him in the abdomen using the hunting rifle before fleeing from the location. Another Kuwaiti citizen who witnessed the crime said the suspect shouted 'Why did you talk about me?' before shooting the victim.

Another colleague of the victim immediately took the latter to Jahra Hospital in his vehicle but the victim died after arriving at the hospital. Sources revealed that the suspect who is a 27-year old employee of Ministry of Electricity and Water in Saad Al-Abdullah area surrendered himself to the security authorities and handed over the hunting gun with which he shot the victim. He was referred to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action against him.
