Coalition conducts 20 airstrikes on Daesh in Syria and Iraq
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) The U.S-led coalition has conducted a total of 20 airstrikes against Daesh terrorists in Syria and Iraq since last Monday.
The US military said in a statement on Tuesday that 16 airstrikes were carried out in Iraq near the cites of Hawija, Bajii, Fallujah, Ramadi and Sinjar in addition to Tal Afar.
Other airstrikes were staged in Syria around the cites of Kobani and Al Hasakah, the statement added.
The US-led coalition began last August air strikes aimed at eliminating the terrorist group in Iraq and Syria.
