Saudi- Economic boost: 242 graduates post graduates ready for jobs


(MENAFN- Arab News) A total of 242 female graduates and post-graduates are ready to join the labor market and contribute to the Kingdom's economy.
The University of Business and Technology (UBT) recently honored the students and presented them their degrees at a grand graduation ceremony.
Nadia Baeshen Dean of the girls' college welcomed the guest of honor Afnan Sheaibi executive chief of the British-Arab Chamber and Al-Mutairi executive officer of the Arab and Spanish Chamber mothers of the graduates teachers and students.
Baeshen said that universities are important destinations of knowledge and play an important role in shaping the future of students.
'Education and knowledge if imparted in a professional way are key to citizens' success and promote talent and creativity. Our 242 graduates will contribute to the economy of the country in a big way.'
Abdullah Dahlan president of the Board of Trustees and UBT rector Hussein Mohamed Ali Al-Alawi congratulated the graduates.
The UBT also launched the Sahar Moseley Award for excellence and scientific research worth SR10000 and SR40000 to encourage students to go for scientific research and economics study.
Two of the graduates Alaa Bamflh and Raghda Khan spoke on behalf of the students on the occasion on how they were planning to contribute to the economy.
