Haryana's new industry policy to focus on MSMEs
(MENAFN- KNN India) Government of Haryana will soon announce a new industrial policy which will focus on development of micro, small and medium industry (MSME), said a media report.
Addressing the 'Vishaal Laghu Udyahmi Sammelan' organised by Laghu Udyog Bharati here on Sunday, Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said the state government would promote agro based industries in a big way.
"Haryana is an agrarian state where land holding is shrinking and farmers are approaching small industries. The people connected with MSMEs could utilise their potential by imparting them skill development training in industries especially in agro based," the report quoted him as saying.
He emphasised the importance of MSME and said that industries have a significant contribution to the country's GDP, employment generation and big industries could not sustain without MSMEs.
