Kuwait, singapore sign training agreement


(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) Kuwait and Singapore signed Sunday a memorandum of understanding (MoU) for cooperation and exchange of expertise in training.

The MoU was signed by Mohammad Al-Roumi, Undersecretary of the Civil Service Commission (CSC), and Singapore's Charge d'Affaires in Kuwait.

Al-Roumi, speaking to KUNA and Kuwait TV after the signing ceremony, said the MoU renewed an agreement signed in 2010 regarding exchange of expertise and training programs between the two countries, specially in technical training.

"We have held more than 12 training courses in Singapore over the past three years, covering around 136 Kuwaiti employees," he said.

The MoU, said Al-Roumi, "allowed us to bring experts from Singapore to supervise some Kuwaiti projects in ministries like electricity and water and public works, and Kuwait municipality.
