Housemaid who brutally killed Saudi employer put to death
(MENAFN- Arab News) An Indonesian housemaid was beheaded in Madinah on Tuesday for killing her Saudi employer according to the Ministry of Interior.
Sitti Zainab Rouba was found guilty by the General Court here of stabbing Norah bint Abdullah Al-Maroubi to death with a knife in September 1999.
The court also found that she had struck Al-Maroubi on the head with a water heater poured hot water on her and sprayed insecticide on her face. Rouba then placed the body in a bag and dragged it into a bathroom.
The General Court stated at the time that the punishment could only be implemented once the victim's minor children had grown up and agreed to it.
The verdict had been endorsed by the Court of Cassation the Supreme Judicial Council Supreme Court and the Court of Appeal. A royal order was also issued to implement the capital punishment.
