Pres. Obama briefs Qatari Amir on Iran's nuclear deal
(MENAFN- Kuwait News Agency (KUNA)) US President Barack Obama briefed Qatari Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani about the framework agreement that was reached by the P5+1 group and Iran in the Swiss city of Lausanne yesterday.
Obama underlined to the Qatari Amir the US keenness on peace and stability of the region, official news agency (QNA) reported.
Sheikh Tamim reaffirmed importance of the peaceful resolution of the Iranian nuclear program, as well as clearing the Middle East from nuclear weapons.
Sheikh Tamim hoped the framework agreement would contribute to boosting security and stability in the region.
