Jordan to preside over UN Security Council Wednesday
(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) Jordan will, Wednesday, officially assume the rotating presidency of the UN Security Council for one month as of April 1. During its tenure, Jordan will forward a number of initiatives on youths, women and security and peace.
The Kingdom previously presided over the council in January 2014, after it was elected as a non-permanent member for two years until the end of 2015.
