Jimmy Carter Visits QF
(MENAFN- Qatar News Agency) US Former President and the president of The Carter Centre Jimmy Carter and his wife Rosalynn Carter paid today a visit to Qatar Foundation (QF) within the framework of their current visit to the country.
The Former US president was briefed on Qatar Foundation's vision and objectives in addition to its various projects , social projects programs and scientific research programs. He was also shown a three-dimensional model of QF's current premises in addition to the projects and future buildings to be constructed.
At the end of their visit, Former President Carter signed the guestbook and was handed a commemorative souvenir by QF president Engineer Saad Ebrahim Al-Muhannadi.
Qatar Foundation is looking forward to that the visit will lead to the consolidation of joint cooperation with the Carter Center, which efforts focus on global peace and health care programs.
