Kuwait- 2 workers die after part of building caves in 10yrold girl raped

(MENAFN- Arab Times) KUWAIT CITY March 14: Two Egyptian construction workers died and three others were severely injured when part of the building they were constructing in Salmiya collapsed and fell on them while they were busy with concrete works on the seventh floor of the building. Firefighters from Salmiya Technical Rescue and Support stations rushed to the scene immediately after the Operations Room received a distress call concerning the incident. The injured workers were referred to Mubarak Hospital and remains of the deceased were deposited at Forensics for autopsy. Preliminary investigation indicated the ladder caused partial collapse of the building. The case has been registered for investigation.

''Monster'' rapes 10-yr-old: Detectives arrested a civilian employee of the Interior Ministry''s Borders Department for raping a 10- year-old child in Mahboula. The suspect confessed he was in the habit of wearing police uniform to harass children. A security source said the child told his father that a police officer raped him at the ground floor of a building in Mahboula. The man depressed and furious went to lodge a complaint at the nearest police station weeping. A team of detectives led by Major Abdullah Al-Harbi trailed the perpetrator nicknamed ''Mahboula Monster''. The officers monitored the building until the suspect emerged in police uniform. They discovered he was the perpetrator during interrogation. He was detained for further questioning.

''Don''t put stickers on cars'': The General Traffic Department (GTD) warns citizens and expatriate against putting unofficial engraving stickers flags pictures or emblems on their vehicles to avoid violating Article 2017 of the Traffic Law which gives traffic officers the right to impound any vehicle with such items reports Al-Shahed daily. The department reiterated it strictly enforces the law registers violations and arrests drivers who do not abide by the traffic rules and regulations; especially the stipulation on the above items. The department urged motorists to remove items on their vehicles that violate the law.
