Qatar Condemns Mali Attack
(MENAFN- QNA) The State of Qatar condemned the attack that targeted a restaurant in Bamako, Mali on Friday night killing five civilians, including members of the United Nations Mine Action Service in Mali and the European Union, and injuring many others.
The Foreign Ministry confirmed in a statement today Qatar's full solidarity with the Malian, French and Belgian governments, and its support for the Secretary-General's Special Representative for Mali and the United Nations mission to help the authorities and the people of Mali in their efforts aimed at achieving peace and stability.
The statement also expressed sincere condolences to the families of the victims and wishes the injured swift recovery.
It also reiterates the State of Qatar's rejection of all forms of violence whatever its cause and motives.
