Jordanian Army Kills 3 Infiltrators from Syria
(MENAFN- QNA) The Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) killed three men last night who tried to illegally enter the Kingdom, a JAF statement said.
The three infiltrators attempted to cross the border despite warning shots from JAF personnel to stop them from proceeding further, but they did not comply. JAF personnel, thus, applied the rules of engagement and shot dead the three infiltrators, Jordanian state news agency Petra reported, citing the JAF statement.
The military source stressed that the army would not be lenient toward any attempts to cross the Kingdom's border illegally to threaten its security.
Meanwhile, JAF official source also said it shot dead two border infiltrators, who tried to illegally cross into the Kingdom from Syria on Tuesday.
