Saudi- Globe Cup: Al Kabeer cements No. 1 spot

Al Kabeer overcame a slow start to post the top tally of 31 points edging out Habagat which was denied back-to-back awards and settled for second on 27 points.

Alliance in Motion Global returned 24 points in third place on the night followed by Advance Co. Engineers 22 Al Murjana 20 and Jeddah 5KKB 18.

D' Barkads Lifebuoy and Bulacan Knight filled the last three spots on 14 14 and 10.

Frank Afurong of AMG shot the high series of 646 to become the Bowler of the Week on lines of 168 225 and 211.

Habagat topped the first game and was still leading by 2 points from Al Kabeer after two games.

But Al Kabeer bowled big in the last game for first-place points of 9 and also had the top overall output of 3042 for another 9 points to wrest the initiative from Habagat thanks mainly to a pair of 606s from Daryl Loquias and Bandar Al Dosary.

Team captain Igna Salgado was the other player who did three games on 595 while Mohd. Al amri had 151-206 Jay-R de Dios 187-221 and Jowett Carrion 198-212.

Habagat fighting to be the third outright finalist with AMG with only 3.5 points separating them had Med Ramos rolling the third-best score of 635 on games of 212 181 and 221.
