Kurdistan president condoles King over the death of Kasasbeh


(MENAFN- Jordan News Agency) President of Iraq's Kurdistan Region, Masoud Barzani, on Wednesday, sent a letter of condolence to His Majesty King Abdullah II over the killing of Jordanian pilot, Muath Kasasbeh.

Barzani said: "We received with great sadness and sorrow the news of the death of the pilot, Muath Kasasbeh, who was brutally killed at the hands of terrorist Daash group, and while we strongly condemn this heinous crime, we offer, in our name and on behalf of the people of Kurdistan, deep and heartfelt condolences to Your Majesty, the Jordanian people and the family of the martyr, praying to the Almighty to grant you patience and fortitude." He added, "Muath Al Kasasbeh died a hero, and his blood and all the heroic martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the defense of the noble values, coexistence, security and safety of citizens and fought against the enemies of humanity, will not go in vain, and terrorists will pay for their crimes dearly and their destiny will be defeat and annihilation."
