27 Militants Killed in West Baghdad
(MENAFN- QNA) Baghdad Operations Command announced on Saturday that 27 militants were killed in an operation West of the Iraqi capital Baghdad.
The Command Spokesman Brigadier Saad Maan said a force from the 53rd brigade, during an operation in Albouabid area in Karma, West of Baghdad, killed 25 militants and destroyed a vehicle carrying machineguns, adding that another force from the 53rd brigade laid an ambush for militants destroying a vehicle carrying guns and killed two gunmen in the same area.
In another development, seven civilians were injured by daash militants on Saturday in Amiryat Al-Fallujah, south of Fallujah, Western Iraq A security source in Anbar said daash militants besieged Amiriyat Al- Fallujah from all sides, cut all roads leading to it and pounded the area with mortars, pointing out that security forces and tribesmen clashed with daash militants in an attempt to break the blockade clamped on the area. \
