British economy grows 2.6 percent in 2014
(MENAFN) Official data showed that Britain's economy expanded by 2.6 percent in 2014, marking the fastest annual pace since 2007, The Peninsula Qatar reported.
The registered decline, however, was more sharply than expected in the October-December period, the British Office for National Statistics (ONC) said in a statement.
In the fourth-quarter period of last year, gross domestic product (GDP) expanded by 0.5 percent, following a strong growth of 0.7 percent recorded in the third quarter.
